Mountain Occasions, LLC is a joint venture created by two energetic and multi- experienced event coordinators, Aimee Monihan and Kretice Crowson. With over 25 years of combined experience between them, Aimee and Kretice both live to plan creative, fun and memorable events. As long time friends, their paths continued to cross through the years and both ventured down the same career path; as event planners. With a decade behind, and thousands of miles between…….they have reunited to bring their individual strengths to create an unparalleled service and standard to this new company, Mountain Occasions.
Aimee Monihan has over 14 years experience in planning events. Ten of those years were spent abroad, where Aimee was the very first professional wedding coordinator in Costa Rica, Central America. Aimee has planned over 600 weddings in her career and is recognized and certified by The Association of Bridal consultants. Aimee has most recently reached the title of an Accredited Bridal Consultant, a title shared by less than 30 wedding professionals in the United States. She has attended numerous seminars and classes and has previously worked for many years in the resort and hotel industry. Aimee is especially talented in event design and brings an artistic flare to the table with her creative ideas. Aimee lives in Erie, CO with her husband, Alan and their two-year old, Callum. She enjoys cooking, working out, hiking, skiing and many other outdoor activities in beautiful Colorado with friends and family.
Kretice Crowson began planning events ten years ago for reunion groups and small businesses, all while building a strong list of vendors that provide outstanding services in a unique and professional manner. Kretice has planned over 100 events ranging in scope from intimate tea parties to lavish weddings, and corporate affairs to weekend soirees. A native to Denver for over 35 years, Kretice prides herself on being resourceful and efficient in delivering a unique and personalized service to every client. Currently she is being certified by The Association of Bridal Consultants and has completed extra courses in sales, event management, business accounting and organization. Kretice loves to organize details and present creative twists and ideas to each event. She lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with her husband of 12 years TJ and their boys Reed; 10, twins Jett and Brady; 7, and dog, Rocky. When she is not working or spending time with her boys, Kretice enjoys working out, tennis, reading, shopping and any sport her boys are doing!
